Using Up Those Scraps... cards

The girls that come to my classes always joke about how I don't throw 'anything' out! Guess they're right but I aways manage to use those scraps somewhere!Just a few more class scrap cards to share today.

Super simple card and good for a masculine birthday or get well or just... thinking of you. I've certainly needed the two later lately!  I used the water drops from French Foliage as my ink splats! Works great don't you think?
Here a few baby cards I made to just have on hand. Using up some left over class scraps.
For the Little Crawler card I used SU's Polka Dots DSP and Gumball Green and Calypso Coral cs.
This cutie uses the Whale stamps and dies, the could embossing folder and zig-zag embossing folder.
This one used the fancy fans emboss folder and the banners really used up the scraps from the table!
Another one using mostly scraps again.  Thanks for stopping!
I hope this encouraged you to look at your table of scraps!
Hugs.

By the Tide - Open Sea Masculine

Hi everyone. I thought I would share two of the cards the girls will be doing for the next class. They all have a lot of males in their lives and asked me to do a masculine card class. Here they are two of the four:
The first uses the "By the Tide" set and I used pear pizzazz, calypso coral and very vanilla cardstock.
I did use three rhinestones but not in a feminine way... just a few bubbles will do.
The second card is also on the water... and this is a CASE from Michele Zindorf using the Open Sea set.
I call it a brayer card but actually used a few masks and daubers on photo paper.
Hope you liked the first two masculine cards for my next class.
Bye for now!

Winter Storm 2013 MDS Catch Up

Today my inspiration came from my grand kids. They call me constantly and this weekend is no exception. They were chatting with me from their deck .... in their shorts! I'm so dang jealous because here Michigan it's still COLD! We are still in the 40's and windy as all get out. So I decided to catch up on my scrap-
booking. MDS scrap-booking of course!

This is a few photos of the last snow storm that they had in Missouri when it happened to be in February and it was warm here Michigan. Go figure.
I was so happy it wasn't us but now the tables have turned on Gramma in March.
The background is the tree in their front yard that I turned into DSP and made it black & white as well.
The funniest photo here is the one on the left that looks like Becca is being blown over! It just so happens her big sister Hannah snapped the photo just as she was falling. Too funny.

Welcome Home Bunny

Hi everyone.
I hope your Easter was full of fun and family. It was nice to just to sit still for the weekend.
I've been traveling for work all of March and I am completely worn out!
I mean I am Pooped with a capital P!
I returned to my home base office this morning and look what was waiting for me on my desk.
Isn't this just the sweetest!
This has nothing to do with stamping but I thought it was too cute not to share.
One of my crafty gal pals from work made this for me out of a water bottle, a cupcake liner, a marker, so googly eyes and jelly beans of course!
You can see the cupcake liner glued to the top of the water bottle here.
A cute little pair of floppy ears, and tiny bow, and two googly eyes and you're good to go!
I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on and see what other little critters I can make this way.
Hugs.
