PPA 35 - Match Box times 4 Treat Box

Hi everyone... I just couldn't wait to make this little cutie treat box using four (4) match box die cuts between 2 pieces of 5 X 5 CS. I really should have waited to post because I had no candy nuggets to wrap for inside the little drawers. So use your imagination and picture each drawer holding 4 chocolate nuggets with added DSP wrappers. So stinkin' cute! I found the directions through links from Kerin Sylvester's blog. I also have problems with lighting when I take pictures, so I'll have to find the perfect place where the lighting does justice to the colors, but until then... Enjoy.
Supplies: Melon Mambo, Light Pink & Light Gray CS and Sweat Pea DSP, whisper white CS, Mambo polka dot ribbon, mambo brads, punch art bunny using ornament punch, wide oval punch, large oval punch, small oval, 1/2" circle, also embelishment large oval & scallop oval punch.

PPA37 - 3D Paper Rose

Well I really got excited to try out the 3D paper rose I saw in several blogs. I got the directions from Julie Williams' blog and I think my first attempt came out quite nice... if I do say so myself. I especially like the plum color which doesn't really show in the photo but you should get a good idea. I achieved the look starting with a light lavender CS and inked first with Lavender Lace and then with Rich Razzleberry. Then followed the directions to achieve the 3D rose. The only down side  to this card is; it doesn't come out mailer friendly because of the bulk, but oh so pretty! Perhaps this card would be best 'hand-delivered' as well as 'hand-made', but it certainly will be appreciated!
The scallop circle, leaves and butterflies are all from the Sizzix die cuts, with a strip of Razzleberry DSP to give some depth. I think it will be a hit at a future card class. What do YOU think?
Here are few more cards that will be used for the next class. The cute little lion was CASED from Linda Aarhus, one of my favorite mentors, and the plum card is a modified CASE from Andrea Walford. I think the girls will be having some fun with these choices.

This cute little lion says "WILD about YOU!" on the inside, but I forgot to take a photo of it.
It would be great childs birthday or little one's special  occassion.

This dark plum birthday card is self explanitory... Huummmm ya think I have plum thing going here???

SPRING has SPRUNG!!

Hello there... Spring is finally just around the corner, so my last class had a spring colors feel. The girls learned a few new techniques too. (Two step stampin, and distressed flower which uses paper separation).  We did one with punched circles to blend with the Sweat Pea DSP. Don't they look bright and make you think of Spring??
We also finished in record time so a bonus project was added. The girls made a cute Easter Basket using the basket template from SU. This photo shows two sizes, but the girls chose the larger of the two which started with a 9 X 9 square. These dimensions give you a very generous basket that can be used for many different purposes. A cute hostess gift, a birthday, or just something special. Aren't they adorable? I think so.

My last photo shows you my new, just released ..    are you ready????           ta da...
"Gift Certificates" that will be available for anyone going forward. You can purchase this gift certificate from me for any value to give to your favorite stamper for any occassion such as a Birthday, a nice Thank You, or just something Special. These gift certificates are redeemable only through me for any Stampin' Up merchandise from any current catalog at the time of use.
Speaking of Catalogs...... Don't forget..... SALE-A-Bration is coming to close at the end of the month (March 31),  so don't miss out on your FREE stamp set with every purchase of $50.
