Perfectly Preserved

A quick post to show a few more projects using the new "Perfectly Preserved" stamp set and matching dies and also the new woodgrain embossing folder. The little treat holder is from a tut I saw on Kay Kalthoff's blog. So cute!  Here is my projects.
This will be a class card next week.
I used fabric on the jar lid and tied with baker's twine.
After I embossed the 'cordination' DSP I sanded it a little to really make the core show up.
A quick peek at the inside.

Here is the treat holder which makes a cute "thank you" or "table favor" that I found on Kay's blog.
Here a view of the back of the jar treat holder.
Kay's looked so much cuter with 4 Hershey's nuggets inside, wrapped with DSP belly bands, but I didn't have any nuggets on hand and wanted to use this a "thank you" for an order, so I wrapped two small candy bars instead.
Well thanks so much for stopping by!
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Hugs
Diane

Love the fabric topped mason jar and the cute contents. Also the wood grain background, sanded to lend a realistic look is a perfect setting for the jar.
BUT, the little treat holder is so darn cute how adorable will that be sitting on a table, can't wait to see them all lined up!

Both of these projects are wonderful! You put this set to good use ... especially the 3D candy holder ... yum yum! Love the idea of using fabric on your jar top ... looks fabulous!

Have a great long weekend!

Love that treat holder, Diane! I saw it on Kay's blog too and can't wait to make it. Great job with yours--the bars look just as cute as the nuggets. Love the fabric topped jar too. Good luck with your class! ((hugs))

Love your perfectly preserved cards Diane. The treat holder is so cute and I just might have to make one myself. As much as I would love the preserved set, I am resisting still.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your wonderful comments. I hope your traveling for work days will slow down a bit for you.

Traveling for work sure looses its glamour in time.
