Bootiful Witch Broom Treats!

I know this is a little late for Halloween projects, but I had to show you the cute Witches Broom Tootsie Roll treats I made for my grandkids and scrapper friends. I saw this tut on Dawn Griffith's blog and I thought they were adorable!
The tags were made with the stamp set "Bootiful Occasions". I cut the sentiments away from the boots so I can use with more than one stamp.  I used the sentiment for the tag here.
Here's a peek at the treat in broom made with natural coffee filters. So easy!
I changed up the colors of each one just a little. I think I got carried away!
I ended up with this whole bin of them plus the ones in the photo!
I think I'll take some to work for my friends with small children and also my boss who has 3 little goblins. Think they'll earn some brownie points?

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Cup of Joy [Paper Players #116]

Wow! I can't believe I have a second post today!
My post is for LeAnne's theme challenge "Cup of Joy" at The Paper Players.

Here's my "Cup of Joy" card.
I used a crumb cake base layered with the holiday DSP ..."Be of Good Cheer". I stamped a piece of Very Vanilla with the sentiment from "Sassy Salutations" and one from my stash.
I stamped a few items from the "Scentsational Season" set on the VV layer (gingerbread boy and steam), then die cut the mug and candy cane with the new framelit dies. I distressed an oval of red for my saucer, then popped the cup up for dimension.
It's hard to see in the photo but I also made a slit in the mug and tucked the candy cane right inside.
A few red rhinestones decorate the gingerbread boy and mug.
Here's a peek at the inside.
Hope you liked my "Cup of Joy" card.
Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

CASE Study 2

Hi there. Yes it's been a while since I've posted anything new, but my brain seems to be on overload lately. I've been working out of state a lot and have also had some personal issues going on, so my MO JO has been a NO SHOW. Know what I mean?
So with that being said, I did want to 'make' some things and I decided just to CASE a few of the wonderful projects I saw in a magazine or while blog surfing. I changed a each one just a tad to make it my own, but not too much, and I really like how all of them turned out. I always feel a little guilty when I CASE, but not enough to stop me! Here are a few I did this weekend.
Cased from Mary Fish using the new framelit dies and Polka Dot DSP. I die cut my card using an A2 size piece of CS making a larger portion at the top which is solid.
A favorite from Ann Schach using French Foliage fussy cut, Word Play and a retired stamp set as well as the new Orchard Harvest DSP. I used different inks and stamp set for the background.
I CASED this Fall beauty from Mike Funke using the Perfectly Preserved set and Orchard Harvest DSP. I only wrapped the focal point with ribbon and changed the sentiment piece.
Last but not least a card I saw in the latest Paper Crafts magazine but I added a jingle bell bow.
Well that's it for now. I think I may use some of these for my next class.
Thanks everyone for the inspiration.
