MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Well it's been forever since I've posted anything.
I've had a trip to Missouri to visit my daughter and grandchildren the week of Thanksgiving. I so miss them and wish they were closer to me. I returned home with horrible cold that turned into a sinus infection. That had me down for over two weeks.... which ended up bothering my teeth!  That lead me to making a dentist appointment, (later today) and then I found out my dentist retired and some other dentist purchased his practice.... hmmmm.  Wonder what surprises that will bring?
Anyway to make a long story short...  I did have a few card classes since my last post, however,  I'm just too dang lazy to write all the details. I just decided to post some of the cards (that I photographed) that we did  at my Nov and Dec classes and few that are being kitted up for the New Year.  I'm just posting the cards with very little explanation.
Core'dination paper was used to make the wood background.
I saw how Brian King used the new ornament stamps upside down as hot air balloons.
Sponging over the neutrals paper brings out the embossed design on this specialty paper.
Variations using Real Red, Pacific Point and Soft Suede inks.
Made totally with paper scraps and the layout was a CASE from Mary Fish. My gal pal saw a "bird"  so she went with that! Too funny.

I think I had a thing for music notes... must be all the Christmas music!

Two card for January class using two cute embossing folders that I received from my sweet friend Nancy Lempinen who happens to be the mother of my up-line. You can see her fabulous creations here at Nanc's Niche of Stampin'.
Well that's a look at what's been cookin' around here.
I hope you enjoy viewing them and I'll see everyone in the New Year!

I'm glad you are feeling better Diane. Nothing worse than having a cold. Love all your cards and I am sure your gal pals enjoyed creating them as well. I am so lucky to have my grandchildren close...they are so special. Have a very Merry Christmas Diane. Hugs Karen

I'm so sorry to read that you've been under the weather. Looks like you had some fun crafting times to take your mind off that awful sinus infection. All these cards are wonderful! Between you and me, I was looking for some chocolate attached somewhere. Hahaha. You always makes the cutest candy holders! Hope you are feeling better and had a joyous Christmas Day! Happy New Year ... I hope 2013 brings you good health and happiness!
