A Buggy Class

Hi everyone. I have a few cards to post that will be for my Feb Card class. They will use some new items and some old items for this class but mostly you'll notice it's all very buggy!
The first card uses the new embossing folder called "Honeycomb" with new primrose petals "Core'dinations" card stock that was lightly sanded. I also added some of the new Vanilla Flower Trim which I edged lightly with the matching primrose marker.

The next card I CASED from Carey one of the winners last week at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog. Such a pretty way to use the many butterfly punches and embosslits and so simple. Why didn't I think of this?  I did change mine up by using the black DSP on a white card base. I also used both corners of the DSP to eliminate waste. So the girls can choose if they want the sentiment on the upper right or lower left. Which do you like?
This last "buggy" card is not for the class, but rather for a friend recouping from surgery. I was just trying to use up some of my retired stash but I'm afraid I'll need a lot time to put even a dent in my"stash stuff" !!

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Hugs!

Happy New Year! January Card Class

Happy New Year everyone!
Just a quick post to show a few more class cards.... In no particular order here they are!
This was one of the cards from my January class. This uses some new Stampin' UP items from the Spring catty such as the "Cloudy Day" embossing folder for the background, the    "Rain or Shine" stamp set and matching "Sunshine and Sprinkles" DSP.
.
The girls also made three more cards using SU papers, inks and dies but some stamp sets with matching dies are not Stampin' UP.
I used the Adorning Accents edgelits to cut the tablecloth for this card.
Then the girls got to be creative and make two more cards which can or can not be necessarily a Valentine.
I made several in each station to use as Inspiration.
The stamps, ink, and papers are all Stampin' UP, the dies are not.

And finally we just had to try the chalkboard technique which seems to be all the rage lately.
Well there you have it. I think they are all fun and the girls thought so too. How about you?

Hugs
Diane
