A Buggy Class

Hi everyone. I have a few cards to post that will be for my Feb Card class. They will use some new items and some old items for this class but mostly you'll notice it's all very buggy!
The first card uses the new embossing folder called "Honeycomb" with new primrose petals "Core'dinations" card stock that was lightly sanded. I also added some of the new Vanilla Flower Trim which I edged lightly with the matching primrose marker.

The next card I CASED from Carey one of the winners last week at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog. Such a pretty way to use the many butterfly punches and embosslits and so simple. Why didn't I think of this?  I did change mine up by using the black DSP on a white card base. I also used both corners of the DSP to eliminate waste. So the girls can choose if they want the sentiment on the upper right or lower left. Which do you like?
This last "buggy" card is not for the class, but rather for a friend recouping from surgery. I was just trying to use up some of my retired stash but I'm afraid I'll need a lot time to put even a dent in my"stash stuff" !!

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Hugs!

Diane

Oh, Diane, all of these cards are awesome! I love that honeycomb background look. Your butterfly card is so colorful and just makes me think of Spring! Another fun-filled day with the gals will be had!

Have a great week!

Hi Di,
Great cards, love the "buggy" theme when I first read it I thought you meant "horse & Buggy", silly me!
Anyhow love all the critters, the new honeycomb EF, (mine should arrive today, yipee). There are so many retired DSP that are still so pretty, you're right it's a shame not to use 'em. The gals will love the cards for class.
Hugs,
Nancy

These are such fun cards for a class! I love the honeycomb background you sanded on the first one, and the colorful butterflies on the second are gorgeous. What a great idea to carry the "buggy" theme through all of your cards!

These are so pretty and the buggy card is so cute. Love how you used all the butterfly punches and sizzlets to make the butterfly card. Sure does remind me of Spring (which my the way, I hope comes soon.)
I am sure your gal pals will have fun creating them. Hugs Karen
