Hi there! It's been a while since my last post as I was having major 'blogger' issues that wouldn't let me post anything. Aggrrrr. I absolutely LOVE my PC but honestly, I know NOTHING about the inner workings of this wonderful object I call my laptop. Thank goodness for wonderful techy gal pals that always seem to get me through. So after a long evening of clicking around -Google, Google Chrome, Blogger with the help of a few glasses of wine.... my BFF saved the day. I was there for moral support only...8-)
So I'm doing a short post of this card mainly to see if we succeeded!
I was asked at work on Monday to make an Anniversary card for one of the engineers that he needed on TUESDAY! ... Nothing like last minute, right? Sure hope he liked it. (Since it is now Saturday I can say the wife loved it). Whew!
It's hard to see but the 5th Ave EF was touched with
glue and glitter is added. I put a small calander with a heart on the
date..nothing like the last minute for the request buddy! The "K" is for the
last name. One in a Million, Fabulous Florets, Fifth Ave. Floral EF, A Word for
You, Loving Thoughts, Clockworks,Occassional Quotes, Inspired by Nature were
used. The BG music EF is non SU.
Well that's it and I'm crossing my fingers when I hit "publish"... I'm back in business.
Thanks for stopping by and please let me know your thoughts!
Hugs
Diane

Yippee, you're back in blog-land, thank goodness for SR! Diane, your card is lovely I especially like the little calendar to mark the special date, and how it's framed out. The flowers are stunning and the EF background is music to my eyes, oops that's supposed to be ears, right? So what it's gorgeous no matter what!
You are published! OMGoodness, Diane, this took my breath away and to think it was done in a rush! This is an exquisite card and I'm sure the wife felt extra special this year! Beautifully done!
Wow! This is gorgeous, Diane! There are so many special touches on this card. I am sure your friend's wife LOVED it!
I am glad to see that you are able to be back posting, Diane. I would have hated to miss this card. It is absolutely fabulous. I love the treatment you gave the embossed rose and the calendar with the date circled as well as the K are real wonderful added touches. You did amazing considering your time was limited. Hugs Karen
