A CASE of Lazy Saturday

Happy Saturday! I have been waiting all week to stamp but I've been so busy lately at work that by the time I get I get home... I have NO MO to create.  However, I did want to post something today...so I thought I'd show this adorable card I did the other day that is a CASE card from Lisa Young at Add Ink and Stamp. I thought this was too too cute. Don't you?
The only thing I changed was the stamps used for the sentiments.

She has all the details in a tutorial here.
Happy weekend everyone!

Colors of Spring - Llama HOP

Today's post is for the Watercooler Llama HOP... and we are to use the retiring Stampin' UP IN colors (Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait ) with a Spring Theme. If you are following the HOP from the beginning you have arrived here after viewing the wonderful project from Joanne's blog. Hope you're having fun along the way. Now here is my "Colors of Spring"  HOP card.
I started with a blushing bride card base, then layered with pear pizzazz and concord crush cardstock mats. The whisper white piece was stamped with blooms from "Field Flowers" and "Fast and Fabulous" using all the IN colors, which I thought made a beautiful spring bouquet. I hope you click on the photo to see the pretty colors up close and personal.
Next I back stamped another bloom in blushing bride on a piece of whisper white and over stamped that with the sentiment from "Easter Blossoms" in concord crush ink. I punched this out using the curly label punch and popped it up with dimensionals  on another concord crush piece punched with the decorative label punch.
I added a snippet of concord crush ribbon to the back with sticky strip and also added two pearls to each side. This was popped up with dimesionals as well to give some interest.
Here's a peek at the inside using all the IN colors and a sentiment from "Curly Cute".
I always like to add a bit of my design to the envelope as well; I just like it.
I also created another card using the Summer Smooches DSP which was CASED from Gretchen Barron, but changed a few colors.  I think this card is So fun!
I used the Summer Smooche DSP which has the colors of Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango, and Rich Razzleberry. I also used Whisper White for the stamped image of my card
I am not the best photographer (lighting) but it really has a bright and cheery feel. It has a daffodil delight cardbase, and the sentiment and image are matted with rich razzleberry and pacific point. .
Then a few punched butterflies dressed up with a large rhinestone body and a daffodil seam binding bow.
The sentiment is from the Pursuit of Happiness Stamp Set. Additional embellishments and tools used include the Scallop Border Punch, Butterfly Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones and Stampin' Write Markers. I colored directly on the rubber to stamp the whimsical flower images.
Here's a peek at the inside of the second card.

Well that's it!
The next stop on the HOP is here
where you will view the projects by Kathe . You can also click the button below to return to Joanne's blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by to view my "Colors of Spring" and "SMOOCHES cards.

Chocolate Bunny Humor - PP#89 Tickle your Funnybone

This post is for The Paper Players "Tickle Your Funnybone" challenge #89 to celebrate Humor Month.
I have lots of funny stamps but since I need to make an Easter card I thought I'd use one of my favorite stamps, "Chocolate Bunny" and add some humor. Here is my card.
Since I hate to waste any paper, I first punched the two 'eggs' from the center of the pink DSP with the large oval punch and set aside. Then I glued the DSP to the card front. I stamped the grass from "Inspired by Nature" and the sentiment from "Well Scripted" on the whisper white piece.
Next I stamped my chocolate bunny in veramark and heat embossed with chocolate embossing powder. I just love this little bunny because it looks exactly like the Sander's Solid Chocolate bunny we got in our Easter baskets. Yummy.
Then I glued this whisper white piece to the DSP piece.
I glued one of my eggs to the left of the bunny, then I ran a piece of sticky strip in a curve at the bottom of the bunny and over the first egg. I covered the sticky strip with some yummy pleated ribbon. The second egg was added with dimensionals over the ribbon to give it some interest.
Next I added my butterflies from the 'Butterfly Embosslit' and the smallest butterfly went right on the bunny's nose! Too cute, eh? Well this is my humor part!
The inside was finished with the sentiment and images from "Easter Blossom". Done!
Hope you liked my bunny humor and hope it tickled your funnybone!
