Paper Players #15 and SUO C1 Fall challenges

Today my post is going to fit two challenges. The first is for the Paper Players Color Challenge using Old Olive, More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Early Expresso with a dash of white or vanilla. The inspiration photo is here.
The second challenge is for Stampin Up Only  (SUO) Challenge #1 - FALL. Now you can see why this card will work for both. ..and here's my card.
I started with Cajun Craze CS for the card base, then matted a piece of  Elegant Soiree DSP to Early Espresso CS. I punch a scrap of More Mustard CS with the Photo Corners XL punch and added an old olive brad, then glued to the card front.  I stamped the design using one of my favorite sets,  Autumn Harvest in Cajun Craze and Early Expresso. I colored the pumpkins using a blender pen and inks, starting with More Mustard and blending in Cajun Craze, then adding Old Olive to the stems. The leaves used the same colors, blending as I colored. I colored the acorns with Write Markers, then a touch of shadowing on the ground also with markers. I then finished it off by highlighting the veins in the leaves and pumpkin stems with a gel pen. I stamped the "Give Thanks" sentiment in Early Expresso right over the finished pumpkins. I distressed the edges; first with old olive and repeated with early expresso. I matted the same way as the DSP piece, photo corner & brad in the upper corner this time.
I used the Tiny Tags stamp set and punch to add three small tags to the Expresso 1/8" ribbon; tied on with Linen Thread. I used dimensionals to add this mat to the card front.
Well that's it! Done... and I like it!  If only I had better lighting for the photos.. Hmmmmm. I really have to work on that.

Now I'm off to submit my card to the two challenges; Paper Players and Stampin Up Only.
Now it's your turn to join the fun!

Hootie says "Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment" .... cuz we all Love those comments!.
