CONGRATS TO THE GRADS!

Hello there.... I'm doing a Super QUICK post!
I needed a few more graduation cards, but had no MoJo working. I was tired of making the same card over and over, so I CASED a few of the card designs from the great inspiration of some of my favorite designers.

The details are a mixture of the PTI and Stampin' UP stamps (current and retired), the SU star punch, PTI Star die and SU cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by!

Spreading Random Happiness

I gave my really good friend Nancy  from Nanc's Niche of Stampin  a little ribbing about not posting on her blog in a long while; when she kindly pointed out that I haven't posted in a while either!
Although it hadn't been as long as her, she was completely correct. Hmmmm.
So I decided to see what I could do about that.

I don't have the class cards for June done yet, or even have started to create them at this point. So I looked at the photos on my phone, and decided to post a few of the random cards I've made recently, (since my last posting) and they are all for various occasions.
Here's a cute Thank You card that could be used for many things including thanks to a special teacher. Right?
Below are two cards I made for two recuperating friends..
I love how the "film" strip pulls out to reveal a special message.

Below are two Birthday cards... both a little too much to do in class, but both were made for class participants. IN FACT..... One of these was suppose to go to Nancy, but I had set them aside and when it came time for her Birthday...I forgot about them and I had already mailed her another!
Now...  it isn't the first time I've done that! So anyway... one went to our friend Michele who works part time in a florist, and the other will be on its way to my sister-in-law at the end of the month. Sorry Nancy.... Which one "would" you have wanted?
The last card is going to a young man who will graduate law school this coming Monday. I really like the Popped-Up image highlighted by the fine black penciled lines... just to give some interest.
I hope he likes it.
Well that's it for now.... Ms. Nancy.... 8-)
Hope you enjoy my post today.

Hugs

Wheeling Onward!

My friend at work decided to go and take riding lessons.... motor cycle riding...  after many years of not being on a bike. So she signed up for a three day session.... including classroom and riding. She passed her class with flying colors and beat most of the men in the class too! Way to Go!
Here is the card I made her to celebrate the occasion.
She was so surprised and loved the card.

I forgot to use my embossing buddy before I heat embossed the cycle, but it looks okay a little gritty... right?

Must Maintain My May MOJO

Hello there! Well I can't believe May is almost here! It is one of those months where I know someone with  a Birthday almost EVERY DAY!  Well it's really 17 people, but it "feels" like Every day. So I started making a stash, but I still have to prep kits for the May Card class.
Here are few of the newer cards I made and most if not all will end up as May Card Class cards if I don't get busy this weekend.
I also have to say I've been busy traveling for work and have not been the most creative, so I did CASE the first card for inspiration from one of FAV bloggers.... Linda Callahan: you can see her card here.  Any way here are the cards I've completed so far... which one should be in my May class?
I do know I cased this from an April 8 post from  Linda Callahan .  I changed it up a little but it was NOT my creativity. Thanks Linda.

This one is an older one I made but never used for class.
This one is definitely going to be on the May class. Love this Tulip stamp.

Then there is always one and sometimes two cards  that are super simple... Blackberry Bliss & Hello Honey DSP will fill that spot!.
Please leave a comment and tell me your choices for May!

I've got the Blues...SU Blues!

This is a short and sweet post to show you the cards for the April monthly card class.
As soon as I say April... I think of April showers bring May Flowers.
However.... We in Michigan are still getting spots of snow!!! It's so depressing!
It's given me the BLUES!
And I didn't even notice until I was done kitting my cards for class that everyone is done with a different Shades of Blue!

So here are my "Blue"cards for the April class.

This one used the SU "Modern Mosaic" & "Beautifully Baroque" embossing folders and the "Hello You" thin-lit die with Lost Lagoon CS.

SU's "Kinda Eclectic" is one of my FAVS!
"Coastal Cabana" DSP using up scraps for a simple birthday card.

Last but not least Sky Blue and Bordering Blue (retired) which looks almost gray.
Hope you enjoyed my "BLUE" cards... now hurry up SPRING!
Hugs
Diane
