Hi everyone.
Well what a wonderful week this is...why? Because there are so many family members and friends Birthdays this week! [Me 5th, MIL 6th, Michele 7th, Nancy 8th, cousin 8th, brother 9th]. Plus...the first Thursday of May is always our Cupcake Open on my golf league. Why? Because we celebrate the birthdays of Nancy, Michele and ME! Our birthdays are on the 5th;me the 7th; Michele and the 8th; Nancy! how fun is that? Well take my word, it FUN!
I wanted to share the cards I made for both. First is Nancy's; which suits her to a tee.. no pun intended. here it is. I started with a Rich Razzleberry card base and added some pear pizzaaa DSP, which I glued to the pear pizzazz mat then ran through the BS with the Cottage Wall emboss folder.
Then I wrapped the mat with razzleberry polka dotted ribbon and tied a knot bow before attaching to the card front.
I stamped the image and re-stamped it on razzleberry velvet paper and cut out the hat and shoulder area, and glued to the original image. I added a few pear felt pom poms to the hat. Then I colored the face with markers and a blender pen. I added some bling pearl earrings to finish the 'look'.
Here's a peek at the inside... and she really IS a Chic' chick!
And a peek at the envelope. So cute.
Happy Birthday Nancy on the 8th!
Michele's card has been previously posted. When she saw this card she Loved it because it reminded her of her daughter that took ballet and wore tu tus. I knew I had to save it for her birthday.
You can find full details of how I made this card here.
Happy Birthday Michele on the 7th!
There is also many more birthdays at the end of month too! I better get busy.
Hootie says " Hoot Hoot Hooray...Thanks for stopping by today! Please leave a comment with your thoughts; I hope you will stop by again!"
