Today is a quick post of a card I made for a friend. I love the colors and actually made several; each a little different. Here is my card.
I started with pacific point blue and layered with daffodil delight accents.
I embossed the card front with the new "Flower Garden" embossing folder. Then I stamped one blossom from "Fabulous Florets" several times in pacific point on w.w. cs and ran it through the BS using the square lattice emboss folder. I added that to a pacific point mat, and again with a daffodil delight mat.
I wrapped this stack with a frayed piece of wide striped daffodil delight ribbon and tied it with the tiny piece I cut off the edge, then I added to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from "You're a Gem" set in pacific point on w.w. and double matted with a daffodil scallop oval, and a pacific point large oval then popped it up with a few dimensionals overlapping the ribbon.
I stamped another blossom from "Fabulous Florets" and cut it out leaving a hint of white and popped this up as well, then added a pretty blue rhinestone to the center.
Here is a peek at the inside using a sentiment from "Happy Greetings" and a few more blossoms from "Fabulous Florets".

Please leave a comment with your thoughts; I hope you will stop by again!"

Very pretty Di, love the colors with just a touch of the DD which really sets it off. Don't you just love the Fabulous Florets set.
I love your colour combination Diane. The blue and the white with a dash of yellow makes the card very refreshing. I also like the technique you used to fray the ribbon. It cuts down on the width a bit and makes it more manageable.

Love these colors together, Diane! Very pretty! I love that wide ribbon, and as always, the embossing. A fabulous card!
GREAT card, Di! Love these colors together and the embossed card base is fabulous with the textured panel. Love the ribbon treatment and the sentiment too. All around fabulous!
Gorgeous! I just used this same color combo and I love it!
WOWZA, Diane!! Awesome colors and the texture and details are fan-tab-u-lous! That frayed ribbon is so perfect! I have to try that out really soon. Thanks for the inspiration today! Hugs! :)
