Triple Treat Ribbon Cake - {PPA117}

Today's post is for the Pals Paper Arts - Ribbon - challenge 117 using one of my favorite new stamps.. the Triple Treat Flower and here's my card.
This needs little explaination but the colors are cajun craze, crumb cake, chocolate chip cs with pieces of the new SPICE CAKE (love it) DSP and a scrap of cameo coral designer DSP to add some punch.
I tied the chocolate chip wide stripped ribbon with piece of linen thread, then added the flower which was stamped twice with the Triple Treat Flower; Once on lucky limeade, and again on crumb cake. Then I used the 5 point flower and punched out the center and held together with an antique brad.
The leaves are actually the wings from the two-step-bird punch tucked in behind the ribbon. I stamped the sentiments from My Friend, but in hind sight I should have heat embossed it..
Here's a peek at the inside using touches from the front.
Done!

Hootie says " Hoot Hoot Hooray...Thanks for stopping by today!
      Please leave a comment with your thoughts; I hope you will stop by again!"

Love that wide striped ribbon and it is gorgeous with that big layered flower! And I always love how you do the inside - I am so bad at that!

Very pretty card Di, love the way you used the ribbon cinching it in a tad and placing that beautiful flower right on top with the designer brad, very smart looking.
