Putting-on-the-Ritz {PPA123}

Hello everyone! I posting this for the Pals Paper Arts  'Putting-on-the-Ritz' challenge {PPA123}. First let me say I have to leave for the airport in one hour so this is going to be a super short post as far as details! I also must mention I CASED this from one of my favorite stampers, but I can't remember who at the moment, and I don't have time to find it right now, but I LOVED it...so thanks for the inspiration!  Here's my card.
I made this card last night at class using the "Christmas Lodge" stamp set and the masking technique. I masked the snow using a torn piece of scrap paper and stamped the lodge in Stazon black ink. Then I used daubers and sponges to create the night sky with pool party, pacific point, crushed concord, and night of navy inks.
I also took a dauber and with more masking and light touches added inks to give the snow some dimension.
Then I used a two way glue pen and sprinkled glitter for the sky and some Mica Flakes for the snow mounds. I used a non SU puffy pen and heat gun for the roof.
Then the inside also has a touch of glitter on the trees but it's hard to see in the photos.
Done!
I hope you liked my "Putting-on-the-Ritz" card for the PPA 123 challenge,
Now I'm off to see my grand kids! Yippee!

Hootie says " Hoot Hoot Hooray...Thanks for stopping by today!
      Please leave a comment with your thoughts; I hope you will stop by again!"

Diane, this is a fabulous card with all the sponging and masking. The puffy paint really makes the snow come alive on the lodge. Have a wonderful time with your grandchildren. Hugs Karen

Diane, your card really does look like a cold winter night. Love the way you colored it to look like nighttime and the snow. Could be a winter blizzard in MI.
Hope your trip was awesome and good luck at PPA!
