100th Challenge Celebration at The Paper Players

Wow! I was so excited this enjoying my coffee when I discovered....  It's the 100th Challenge celebration at The Paper Players; can you believe it? This is one of my favorite sites to visit because it was one of my first 'challenge' blogs to follow faithfully. I love all the designers and their inspiration is topped only by the friendliness of their comments.

I am going to choose sketch #3 as my starting point and here it is.
I like this sketch because it allows you to showcase some of the fabulous LARGE stamps, and the catty has a few I love, including the ones in "Blooming with Kindness". Here is my card.
I started with a base of Calypso Coral card stock folded into an A2 card. I added a strip of Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB) to the bottom. Then I layered another piece of the DSP on matted to basic black card stock. I know the DSP is from the SAB mini, but I the old IN colors are still current, and LOVED that DSP.
I just love the large blossom in this set and I stamped it in Calypso Coral on WW cut with the large scallop circle die. I sponged the edges in the same ink, and added a large pearl to the center and popped up with dimesionals.
I die cut the sizzix large swirl in pool party and tucked over and under the focal piece.
The small sentiment was stamped on WW and punch with the scallop circle punch. These edges were also sponged in calypso ink and layered on a basic black piece die cut with one of the middle sized Floral Frame framelits, also added with a few dimesionals.
A few Itty Bitty blooms with pearl centers and a tiny rhinestone complete the front.
Here's a peek at the inside with elements from the front.
Well I'm off tomorrow morning to visit my grandchildren for a whole week! Can't wait to see them but I'll be whooped when I get home!
Hugs!
Hootie says " Hoot Hoot Hooray... Thanks for stopping by today!
Please leave a comment with your thoughts; I hope you will stop by again!"

Such a pretty card Di, love the blossom and the colors you chose making this a show-stopper card. Of course I love the image under the sentiment on the inside of the card as well, it just finishes the card.
Have a safe trip and see ya when you return, have fun!

Another great card today. You are right, this sketch is perfect for the larger stamps. I love the way you decorated the inside, too. Gorgeous card. As always... so glad you could play along with the Paper Players on our centennial challenge!
