Today is quick post of a card I made for a girl at work that had to put her little Yorkie down. He was the cutest little guy.... he just got too old. He was falling down and losing his sight. So sad. Here is my card.
The inside has a verse for Pet Sympathy. It's one I save and use all the time for this occasion.
It's hard to see but I used SU Sparkle Washi Tape on the bottom
I also added glitter to the edges of the clouds and halo.
This next card is one the girls will be doing for the next class. Works for many occasions but I'm using for a graduation card. It's also a great way to use up the PILES of DSP I have.
I die cut the "celebrate out of some SILVER cardstock and glued below the pocket. The collar is made from a sun-burst die, and the buttons are simply different sized hole punches. I glued the pocket and collar to white cardstock and trimmed a border to set them off a bit. and...
YES...the 100 bucks is REAL!
Thanks for stopping and please let me know what you think!
Hugs
Diane

Hi Di,
So glad to see you're back in blog-land.
Love your Grad card & yes I'll take that $100 bill gladly. Are you early with a card or like me, late?
I really like the colors you chose, the turned down collar and buttons are adorable. The Celebrate under the cute pocket is perfect,
Fabulous card, the Stamp Club gals are going to love it.
Hugs,
Nancy
So sorry to hear about your co-workers Yorky passing away, it's always so sad, I remember when my dear doggie went to doggie heaven, it's not easy.
I think you did a great job on the card love the clouds with a touch of sparkle as you know there must be in heaven. I really like the embossed background and the halo on the puppy is sweet. I'm sure your card will help her know that others DO care when animals pass on too.
hugs,
Nancy
