Can’t Believe it’s 2021

Hi there... IF anyone is out there!

I just can't believe it's 2021 and I haven't posted a thing. I've been trying to get my card classes going again after the COVID19 quarantine.  I did hold a few small classes but forgot to take pictures, so here is a few of the last class cards.

This last card is one I designed for Michele's son's birthday. He is a classic car buff, so the Mustang seemed to work out for that. She liked it a lot.

Thanks for taking a peek and I hope to post more often!

Happy New Year 2020

Hi everyone!  (Nancy)

Well I can’t even believe it’s 2020: who would have imagined!  Even though I RETIRED the end of March 2019,  I haven't posted here since June 2019!

Guess who has been lazy?... Well maybe not lazy... just having too much fun! Not lazy creating just lazy and posting,  so thought I’d share the cards for the January 2020 class that I have planned.
I  hope the girls enjoy..

This is my treat bag for a thank you.
Now just have to get a treat for inside!

Making this one for MICHELE who wanted another bike card.
I just want Spring!

This can be anything including a Valentine

I try to live my life by this quote and I just this stamp.
I just love anything vellum.

June card class 2019

Hi girls.
Here is what is waiting for June class.
This card is a CASE card I just loved.

This is a modified CASE from a birthday card I received from sweet Nancy.

Kim wanted to do a Tri-fold card.
New technique "reflections".

Hope the girls like.
Thanks for stopping!

Dog Gone it! So Cute!

Hi there.... (Nancy).

Just a quick post to show you some of the Dog cards I've been making. Dog gone it... I just can't seem to make enough of them lately. They are just so Dog-Gone cute!

Several people I know have obtained a little fur baby recently... so I needed a few cards for that. Then I needed a few "sorry for your loss" of their fur baby. So sad. I try to keep a few these on hand.

Now here is a few samples of cards I made recently;  not all... but a few.  I made several variations of each. I changed out the sentiments as well... but you'll get the idea how you could use for many occasions, Right?.

This first one the girls saw in my store at the last class and they all want to make it. So I will be doing some kits for this one. ... I probably will do the punching of the dogs, as this could be a time constraint for a few girls.

This CAS card is a favorite of mine. I used for several sentiments... Loss... Miss... etc.
A great card for class.  Super Simple.

This little Scotty dog is just beyond CUTE!
I LOVE doing this card in rich blue with the vellum overlay piece: but he's adorable with a Red & Black / Green & Black / or Blue & Black..... Plaid background as well.

Happy Card Class 2019!

Wow! Can you even believe it's 2019 already? Where the heck did 2018 go? All I know is that it sure went FAST! So Happy New Year Everyone!  (Nancy)   8-)

Just a quick post to show you the cards from my January 2019 Card Class. Although this was a small class, there was HUGE enjoyment making these cards from gals. Two are my own creations and two are CASE cards from a couple of my favorite designers that give me inspiration.
This first is one of my favorite sets! I also purchased the matching dies, background dies and fun DSP. (not shown here) These little parrots and sentiments are so fun to create with, the possibilities are endless.

Here is another cutie patootie set with many possibilities to mix and match.
This will be used as birthday card for special guy.... even if he has a few thorns now and then!

I do admit that this card is a CASE... but who could blame me! I did add my own touch, but seriously these Sea Horses are so darn cute for a baby card. Right?

This card was for a class member who loves tea cups, especially for her special Aunt who is now 101 years old! I'm so sad she was unable to attend class, but I will save a kit for her.

Thanks for taking a peek!

FALL Porch - Fusion Challenge

This post is for the Fusion FALL PORCH challenge.

I played around with many ideas for the FALL. Here is my results. I really love the FALL and the color changes from September to November, depending on where you live. The colors are so beautiful to me, I only wish they lasted longer.
I chose the first card to enter in the Fusion Fall Porch challenge.
I think this one represents the Fusion Photo best. I left some extra distressed leaves for the photo of my card. It reminds me of the leaves in the Fusion photo blowing up against the porch.

More distressed leaves.

I used some old scrapbook stickers for the word FALL on this one.

One of my favorite leaf sets from the past.

This is just a Happy Harvest Fall card I'm using for card class.
I thought it was pretty cute.

This is on it's way to a friend. (?). Guess who.

Thanks for stopping!
Happy Fall

Tropical Chic FMS 355 Challenge

Good morning... Nancy.
Playing along with Freshly Made Sketches today.... just because it's been so long since I had post!

Here the sketch for the challenge.

Here is my card using the SU Tropical Chic.
I really do like this set as well as the matching Dies and DSP. This card is CAS was a snap to put together. I wish the true color would show better... It's probably my poor lighting for photos.

The colors in the DSP 6 X 6 are some of my favorites but they don't show up as bright as they are in real life, and I truly like all the papers. I also made a few more just to play around...of course!

Here I put the sentiment sideways.

Here the I used the strips of scrap... Waste not .. Want not. Right?

Celebration for the PP400

Today's post is to play along with the Papers Players "Celebration" challenge.
I can't believe it ...  celebrating their 400th challenge! Wow. That's amazing.

I took the inspiration from the challenge photo of multi colored balloons. My card is multi colored but it is not balloons. The photo lighting is not the best here and the colors look a little muted, but this card is pretty in the bold colors in person, guess you'll have to take my word on that.   8-)

I used PTI's Botanical Bounty stamp set to create a multi colored floral arrangement for a Birthday Celebration. I stamped some background greenery as well as added a few die cut branches, then popped up the die cut blooms.

I also added a few Nuvo drops for interest and dimension.

Congratulations Paper Players on your 400th Challenge Celebration!

Spring Has Sprung.... I think!

Hi there everyone ... (Nancy),

Well hopefully Spring really has Sprung here in Michigan. What a crazy year for weather. Any how, I been doing LOTS of Spring cleaning since I've gotten a fresh coat of paint on my condo, and now just ordered new carpet as well. So I decided to post  a few cards that made me think of the outdoors.

Who doesn't think of those furry friends out for a walk in the sunshine in the spring? Along with the furry friends comes foot prints and sometimes in mud, right? Yuck!  But who could get mad at these cute pups?

With spring also comes the flowers. My tulips are popping through the ground and I'm crossing my fingers there is not another frost! Soon the flower bed will be loaded with many types of blooms.

Lastly... once the blooms are in full force, I like to cut a few of fresh ones for the inside as well.

I know it's been a while, but I hope you're still out there checking in....

Brushed Birds Beauty

I am having so much fun with my new Brushed Birds stamp set. This is a multi-step stamping set with a lot of choices for bird sizes and positions. It also looks totally different depending on the color choice. Below is a few of the color combos I have tried so far.
Also these are all single layer stamping... but look totally different with 3D die cuts.

Here is the inside to the first card.
Here is my second choice using a stenciled brick background in a soft gray.
And the inside of the second card.

The last card for this post.

And the inside for the third card.

I can't wait to get the dies that match which were on back order, (darn)...  but have now been restocked and... soon to arrive on my doorstep. Yipeee!

Thanks for stopping by; and please feel free to comment  ... Nancy  8-).

Hugs
