Holiday Stuff part 2

Just want to share 3 of the Christmas cards I made that went in the bags of the previous post.
My first group of 3 gals were from work and not the one's in the photo at the end of the lasat post. They were the alumni group. Anyway the current work gals are avid Dog Lovers. So I made them these cute Christmas cards using PTI dies and stamps. So cute!
Stephanie's little white dog here.
The inside.
Sue's still a puppy ...getting into trouble... Grey Weimaraner (sp?).
The inside
and finally Kristy's yellow lab.
Looks like I forgot the inside!

Hope you enjoyed Holiday Stuff part 2!

Holiday Fun Stuff!!! Part 1

Hi everyone.

I haven't posted in a while but I decided to do a post with the stuff that's been keeping me busy lately..Some may be too photo heavy for some of you so I understand if you just have click OFF..
It may also be too much for one post so please be patient... you may see a title that says... "Holiday Fun Stuff Part 2"!
Heads up...  Some of my "stuff" has nothing to do with stamping! Some of it is NOT Stampin' Up materials either... But it's keeping be busy just the same. Hope you enjoy my "stuff".

I made T-shirt scarfs for my gal pals at work and another alumni group.
I learned how to make these last year from my sweet friend Nancy Lempinen over at "Nanc's Niche of Stamping" .  Nancy happens to be the mother of my Up Line Nance Leedy at Canopy Crafts.
Shhhhh Nancy told me they making these for these for Nance's girls too! How fun!!! You know they'll love em'. right?
The gift is the same but met with both groups separately. These are T-shirt necklaces/wraps that can be worn separately... dressed up or just by themselves. I will start off with a photo of ME wearing a gray one with some fun beads! They say that OVER jeweled is the new 'chic'.!!  Just sayin'..... it sure was fun!
I made 24 wraps and packaged them 3 in each gift wrap of tulle and then I made a cute tag tucked with a candy cane.
Here is a close up of the tag using the "Chalk Talk" set and die. I also used some retired wide ribbon.
I really liked how they looked but decided I wanted a better way to carry them to our dinner get-together. So I made exterior bags using the plain white bags that I covered in some old Christmas DSP I had in my stash. I made another tag using some fun Winter dies and stamps.
I stuffed them in the bags using some green tissue to finish the look.

Close up of the outer tag.
Here are the "Torch Lake" girls.
They Loved the wraps!

Hope you enjoyed my "Stuff"...
Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.
HUGS.

Diane's FALL FUN!

Happy Sunday!
I just wanted to share a few of the fun things November brought my way.

The first is one of the November card class cards the girls enjoyed making. Love the set and and colors.
I used some Crystal effects to make the shine on the cherries.
Here's a peek at the inside.
This is going to be a cute Christmas card for a few of my dog loving friends!
How cute .... right?
My last FUN thing is this dish of Candy Acorns! My sweet friend Nancy brought these to our weekly Scrap booking gathering. They were SO yummy and I plan to make them for a few gals at work.
Easy Peasy and she'll tell you all about it over at Nanc's Niche of Stamping.

Well that's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Halloween SMORES for the Grandkids!

Hi there everyone.

I just wanted to share with you the SMORES packages I made for my grandkids. I know they are a little early but I have to get them in the mail along with this cute Halloween "count down" calendar I got them at a fundraiser, ... so it's all good. Right?
Here are the SMORES ... I got the idea from the many different ideas on Pinterest using the little ghost marshmallow Peeps!  You may recognize the SU tag using the new "chalk talk" die cut and the new burlap ribbon as well as some retired ribbons. I also have a few none SU items as well. Here are my SMORES being created.
Finish and ready to go into the bags.
Pack the ingredients, tie with ribbon, and add the chalk talk tags to the bag.
I really wanted to use the new SU bags to tuck them into but they are too large for the bag! Bummer! Oh well I'm sure the kids won't mind.
Now the trick will be to get them through the mail in the Priority box without breaking the graham crackers! Guess I'll find out how they traveled soon.
Thanks for stopping and please leave a comment.

"Falling for You" [PP161 challenge].

This post is for The Paper Players challenge.. FALL themed card.
Now the trick will be to actually POST it on the challenge blog! Last week I created a card for a challenge and never posted it in the challenge blog! DAH. Guess it's been so long since I played in a challenge I forgot how! Well anyway... here's my FALL card.
This card used the new  "Harvest of Thanks" stamp set, a retired set, a Very Vintage button, Burlap ribbon...and it's also my first attempt at using the Washi tape.

As long as we are speaking FALL... I thought I'd post this Fall Birthday card too!
Here are few variations of the same.

I hope you liked my card and please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Feels Like "Forever" - FMS 100th

Hi there everyone!
OMG... I've been off the grid for a long while now. After my 3 weeks with the grand kids, I went on my annual golf trip with the gal pals. Then I had to go to Atlanta, GA. for a week of training. I returned back to work to find out I got a promotion... or so they say.... they put in a new group- Supplier Development - which means I'll do what I do, but now at the suppliers... hmmm  Also MORE traveling. hmmm.  I'll be on the road at least 50% of my time at work... hmmm.  Promotion???  Well we'll see how that goes.

It seems like forever since I've posted anything for a challenge, so I am so happy to be able to post today.
Seems Freshly Made Sketches is celebrating their 100th sketch! Can you believe it? Wow where does the time go? To help celebrate this special occasion.. Cindy is the hostess and she is using the FIRST sketch used at FMS to be their 100th. Here it is!
Here is my card that is not exact but it's pretty close.
I used the yummy holiday Seasons of Style DSP. I just Love the colors in this DSP and it's so great for Christmas and so much more.
I used the sentiment from Occasional Quotes
Another strip of DSP to set off the sentiment from an older stamp on the inside
Thanks for stopping by and please leave comment and tell me what you think.

Owl Bags

Well I've been so darn busy and feel like I've been on ZOOM for so long .
I had to drive half way from Michigan to Missouri (Terre Haute, IN) and meet my daughter to bring my grand kids here to visit for three whole weeks. This trip was repeated at the end of the visit. Whew.. Gramma was worn out but had a blast; and it shows in my last post.

Then the next week was my annual Gull Lake Golf trip with the gal pals.  Another wonderful trip but this time with grown ups... right?  We had so much fun!
Now tomorrow I have to leave again for work - fly to Georgia for a whole week of training! Really???
I really just want to retire!  Anyway I haven't been able to play in any challenges because I didn't sit still long enough, but when I did sit still I didn't have the energy! Go figure.

Anyway... if you follow me you know I do card classes and always try to give the gals a table favor filled with fun stuff and also some candy! So as I was browsing through some of my favorite blogs I came across these cute little OWL bags on Frenchie's blog. I just had to make some for my next class!

Aren't they just the cutest?
I think I'll fill them with cut pieces of retired DSP.

I think I got carried away!

I won't bother to explain the assembly because Frenchie has a nice video to watch if you want to make them.
Hoping to peek in on my favorite blogs in the hotel at nights and maybe, just maybe I'll join a challenge when I get home!
Thanks for stopping and please leave a comment. I love to hear from all of you.

What's Keeping YOU Busy this Summer???

I haven't posted in forever because my grandchildren have been visiting for 3 weeks.
The girls ALWAYS want to make cards and believe me... they are REALLY getting good at it!
The little guy of course needed to make his own.
They also had lots of fun paddle boating and tubing, Bar-B-Qs and more.
Banana boat tube at my brother's cottage.
Meeting some people that Gramma works with in the park. We have Friday's Picnic Lunch in the Park.
Brian painting his helmet
Hot tub fun.
Bar-B-Qs
The last thing on our list was to paint Brian's helmet. He begged me from the day they arrived to make his "girl" helmet a "Boy" helmet. So Gramma got out some paints and sponge brushes...
He did it all by himself and did a great job.
It went from Pink to his favorite colors.... Blue and Orange.
All in all they had a great time over the three weeks. We will be driving half way home to meet their parents on Friday.  It was great fun but Gramma & Papa are pooped!
