I've got the Blues...SU Blues!

This is a short and sweet post to show you the cards for the April monthly card class.
As soon as I say April... I think of April showers bring May Flowers.
However.... We in Michigan are still getting spots of snow!!! It's so depressing!
It's given me the BLUES!
And I didn't even notice until I was done kitting my cards for class that everyone is done with a different Shades of Blue!

So here are my "Blue"cards for the April class.

This one used the SU "Modern Mosaic" & "Beautifully Baroque" embossing folders and the "Hello You" thin-lit die with Lost Lagoon CS.

SU's "Kinda Eclectic" is one of my FAVS!
"Coastal Cabana" DSP using up scraps for a simple birthday card.

Last but not least Sky Blue and Bordering Blue (retired) which looks almost gray.
Hope you enjoyed my "BLUE" cards... now hurry up SPRING!
Hugs

March Madness Class

Hi there all!
I can hardly sit still because I'll be boarding a plane in the morning to go to Sunny Florida to see my gal pal Nancy! Can't Wait!  We have a half dozen girls going for a LONG weekend... sounds like a cocktail drinking, laughing, chatting P.J. party.
Therefore when we get home on Sunday night... my "First Wednesday of the Month Class" will be only 3 short days away. So I worked this weekend to kit up my cards for the March class. I have to admit my MoJo is really lazy because all I can think about is the few vacation days ahead.

Sooooooooooooo  Even though I changed a few things up to make them mine...  I did CASE two of these cards from Pinterest!  Just sayin'.....  I used the new Occasions and SAB stamp sets.
Here are my March class cards.
I try to give two versions when I can. The lemon card is one of those.
I love all things LEMON, especially CAKE!
This is another polymer set.

Here is the second card with two versions. They can choose to add a green mat to the abstract watermelon or leave it really CAS - white on white.
This simple watermelon was made using several of the  background stamps.... SWWWWEETTT! Right?
And finally my favorite card. I added a few crystal water drops.... Love these!
I used 3 shades of purples on this one.
Let me know what you think!

Class Cards - February

I needed a few Sympathy cards and thought I'd try something different.  Since they were both for females that had passed I thought I'd make something in a soft pink and grey.

I used the "Sheltering Tree" stamp set from the Occasions catty. This has become my "go to" set lately. I really like how it turned out in PINKS! How about you?  I liked so much it will be a card in the February card class... the girls can change the sentiment to whatever theme they need.
Another simple card using the Heart punch with Red Glitter paper and the small Heart embossing folder. Super Simple.
The third card is a simple Valentine using the thinlit die, DSP and some baker's twine. That's three of the four... and now I'll have to figure out what number four will be.  Hhmmm???

A Wonderful World in a Secret Garden

A quick post of another card I made using the same Serendipity Sentiment and some 3D flowers from "Secret Garden" and "Beautiful Bunch" stamp set by Stampin' Up. I just love both the sentiment and flowers together.
This sample is using some of the newer SU colors Hello Honey & Mossy Meadow, along with last years Coastal Cabana & Strawberry Slush, with even older Calypso Coral.

Some centers are embellished with candy dots and rhinestones.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think

Happy New Year! Ring in the New "STUFF" too.

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!
I had a few rough health stepping stones at the end of the 2014 year and I'm looking forward to a better 2015. Not sure about you, but I think my New Years resolution is going to be SLOW DOWN.  I'm finding I'm missing a lot of  "living" just trying to keep up with all the blog surfing, emails, texting,  and FB comments, etc.  OR am I just getting OLD? Hmmm.
Anyway....
I wanted to share the cards the girls will be making in my "First Wednesday of the Month" club. These will be the first cards of 2015 as well... my January class.
I had kitted this one up last year but never used it in a class.  I just love the LARGE polka dot embossing folder on this one. You can see it if you click and zoom.

I should have cropped this photo better.
The  B.Y.O.P. set is from the new Occassions catty.

I Love love love this Serendipity sentiment stamp.

This is another new set called "Sheltering Trees" from the new Occassions catty that I'll be using a lot. I love each stamp in this set and it worked great, along with a die from PTI... Don't  you think?

Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you will leave me a comment and tell me what you think.

HUGS
